Karen K. Hatfield

A general partner since 2008, Karen Hatfield is known as hardworking––able to meet her clients’ needs and exceed their expectations. Her peers view her with the same high regard, voting her a “Rising Star” in Minnesota Law & Politics. She received her B.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and her J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. She is admitted to practice in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the U.S. District Court-District of Minnesota. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin.

Karen joined HDBOB because of the quality of its lawyers and their superb handling of every case. She was also drawn to HDBOB because it offers the “best of both worlds”–– letting her practice law in her home state of Wisconsin and in Minnesota. In addition to insurance defense, she also handles civil litigation, workers’ compensation, personal injury, real estate closings, debt collections, and business law.

Karen is as hardworking outside the office and she is in it. She is active with the Chamber of Commerce in Menomonie, Wisconsin, her hometown, and volunteers time at the University of St. Thomas's Law School where she mentors law students. Recently Karen started the non-profit organization, Mind Over Matter (M.O.M.), Inc. M.O.M. helps people improve their overall health while helping the community, hence M.O.M.'s mission statement, "Personal Wellness, Community Betterment". http://www.facebook.com/mindovermatter09
