MARKETING COORDINATOR (PART-TIME)

Seeking enthusiastic professional services Marketing Coordinator with strong business development experience for part-time (20 hours/week) position.

JOB DUTIES

Business development and client retention
- Work closely with the Marketing and Business Development Committee to assist in the creation and implementation of office-based marketing projects.
- Support business development initiatives, including the preparation and production of proposals, client presentations, pitch books, announcements, advertisements and other market development collateral material.
- Develop and maintain relationships with attorneys in support of ongoing client relations.
- Use marketing research tools for creating profiling for business development.

Events Planning and Management
- In conjunction with the Marketing and Business Development Committee, set up and staff firm-sponsored seminars and events. Duties include site selection, menu planning, list management, invitations, RSVPs, registration, nametags, speaker recruitment, preparation and production of handouts and arranging for AV equipment. Firm-wide events include, but are not limited to seminars, workshops, dinners, conferences and sporting events.
- Coordinate evaluation and follow-up for firm events.
- Track usage of sporting and cultural event tickets.

Operations and Systems
- Work closely with attorneys and the Marketing and Business Development Committee to implement practice-specific tactics.
- Track, analyze and report results of these plans to Marketing and Business Development Committee, with whom proper and frequent communications must be maintained.
- Assist in the development of business development budget and marketing plan.
- Work with firm accountant to reconcile monthly marketing and business development expenses.
Specific Requirements:
 Requires Bachelor’s degree and two-plus years related experience and/or training.
 Professional services experience preferred.
 Excellent planning, organizational, budgeting, time management and multi-tasking skills.
 Strong attention to detail.
 Ability to analyze situations and make on-site decisions quickly and effectively.
 Proven ability to build relationships with a wide range of people.
 Interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse group of attorneys, staff and vendors.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 Knowledge and understanding of the principles of business entertaining and event planning.
 Knowledge of etiquette and food/beverage service industry.
 Ability to understand your role in the big picture and offer suggestions for improvement.
