Mary Kay Kolar inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates

Mary Kay Kolar, partner, has been inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). The primary purpose of ABOTA is to preserve the civil jury trial. Membership is by invitation only, and consists of attorneys who display skill, civility, and integrity to help young attorneys achieve a higher level of trial advocacy and to educate the public about the vital importance of the Seventh Amendment. The general purpose of ABOTA is to foster improvement in the ethical and technical standards of practice in the field of advocacy so that individual litigants may receive more effective representation and the general public will be benefited by more efficient administration of justice consistent with time-tested and traditional principles of litigation.
Mary Kay joined Hansen, Dordell, & Bradt in 1982 after graduating from William Mitchell College of Law magna cum laude. Her practice areas include medical negligence, personal injury, and alternative dispute resolution.
